A stunning heirloom amaranth with deep red foliage and brilliant crimson flower plumes. Traditionally grown by the Hopi people for natural dye use, this variety is also valued for edible leaves, grain production, pollinator support, and ornamental beauty. Plants can reach 4–6 feet tall in warm growing conditions.
This BC-grown strain has been grown and selected by Uncle Doug for nearly a decade in British Columbia gardens.
