Hopi Red Dye Amaranth is a traditional heirloom amaranth historically grown by the Hopi people for use as a natural red dye in foods and ceremonies. This tall ornamental grain produces deep burgundy foliage and bright crimson seed heads that can reach 4–6 feet tall.
